PEEK / HOLD & ROUTINE

Peek and Hold Mechanics

Concept

  • Peek is the way we look at a new angle.
  • The Hold is the way in which we guard an angle.

 

 

Fundamental Aspects

  • Again we take into account the movement. Especially, our movement.

 

  • Angles

The most important thing is to master the corners, to know when we have an advantage and when we don’t have an advantage.

When you Peek, separate yourself from the corners.

When you Hold, make sure that the corner, that you hold, is closer to your opponent.

 

  • Knowing the Environment/Space is fundamental.

 

 

Types of Peek

  • Depending on the Swing

Short, Intermediate or Long

 

  • Depending on their Speed

Running or Walking

 

  • If you peek standing, crouching or jumping

Crouching: Short to medium distances, to break the opponent’s crosshair placement.

Jumping: Very short or short distances and with shotgun.

 

  • Pre Aiming

 

  • Tracking the Corner

 

Types of Hold

  • Passive and Active Holding

 

  • Whether to holde standing or crouching

 

  • Depending on the Pre Aiming

Near Corner, Intermediate, Long or Jiggle Peek

 

 

 

Routine

The timing of the routine is up to you, it depends on your level and desire.

The most important thing is to know and master:

  • Angles
  • Environment
  • Types of Peeks / Holds and know in which situations to apply each one.
